A bit about us.
The Whangarei Music Society, in partnership with Chamber Music New Zealand, brings you a programme of live world class, top quality musicians to perform in this city. Our concerts provide a variety of styles and instruments, with a minimum of four concerts a year, subject to epidemics and the like, of course.
The Whangarei Music Society’s concerts are open to the public, and subscribed members. Non members pay $40 each concert, while subscribed members pay $30, along with a yearly subscription of $30. School age students are free.
Being a subscribed member guarantees seating, provides voting rights at the AGM, and supports the Society’s access to future funding, as membership numbers provide evidence of the strength of audience interest and participation.
Online ticketing and payments are available through this website, while cash payments and EFTPOS are accepted on the day. Should concerts be cancelled for unforeseen events full refunds are available.
